Settings

Open settings from the top-right area of the app. The settings panel has seven tabs: General, Account, Agent, Memory, Appearance, Voice, and Logs.

General

Language preference, the Claude Code stop-notification toggle (see below), a system notifications toggle, an analytics opt-out, and Companion pairing (mirrors the canvas to the MadoHub iOS app over your local network).

Account

Cloud sign-in, current plan, and billing. When agent API access is cloud-managed rather than a self-supplied key, this is also where you see and refresh that connection.

Agent

Agent-related configuration, grouped under AgentApiConfig:

Provider

Configure the AI model used for intelligent routing between agents.

For custom providers, you can also set a Base URL for the API endpoint.

Test connection

Use the Test Connection button to verify your API key and model configuration. A status indicator shows the current provider and model, or "No API key set" if unconfigured.

When is an API key needed?

Only if you use the ai-routing or summary transform types in your connections. The prompt-wrap, full-output, and raw transforms work without an API key.

Other agent options

Auto-submit for agent prompts, tile-close confirmation, and a Resume Session toggle that controls whether closed agent tiles offer to resume their prior session. An approval-mode selector controls how permission prompts from agents are handled.

Memory

Toggle automatic memory extraction and injection, and review the candidate queue: memory candidates awaiting approval before they're promoted to active memory entries.

Appearance

Theme (dark or light) and terminal font size.

Voice

Enable or disable voice input and choose its destination (which agent or tile a voice dictation is sent to). Voice input can also be toggled from the command palette (Cmd+Shift+P).

Claude Code Stop Notifications

Toggle notifications when Claude Code finishes a task. This toggle lives on the General tab.

When enabled, MadoHub:

1. Installs a shell script at ~/.madohub/hooks/claude-stop-notify.sh and registers it under hooks.Stop['*'] in ~/.claude/settings.json.
2. On Stop, the script writes a JSON marker file to ~/.madohub/notifications/{tile}_{timestamp}.json.
3. MadoHub detects completion by scanning that directory and reading (then deleting) any marker newer than 300 seconds.
4. Shows an edge glow animation and plays a sound when Claude Code stops.
5. Auto-dismisses after 15 seconds.

This requires write access to ~/.claude/settings.json and ~/.madohub/hooks/.

Logs

View the last 200 lines of MadoHub's log file (~/.madohub/logs/madohub.log). Useful for debugging routing issues, agent detection problems, or session resolution failures.

Click Refresh to reload the log contents.
