iPhone and iPad

Set up your Agent workspace, manage purchases, and connect an optional Mac in MadoHub for iOS.

MadoHub for iOS is an AI workspace for developers. Create Agents to investigate a bug, plan a change, or review code, then organize their conversations and handoffs on the canvas. You can use the app on its own or connect a compatible Mac to follow desktop Agents and send supported actions.

The app requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Account access and AI tasks require an internet connection. The instructions below describe version 1.1; purchases and available offers are shown in the app for your Apple Account.

Sign in and open your workspace

  1. Open MadoHub and continue with Apple, Google, or Continue with Email. When creating an email account, complete the verification step shown in the app.
  2. Wait for MadoHub to check your account and purchases. If verification fails, check your connection and use Try Again or Restore Purchases.
  3. Your workspace opens when your account has an active Pro plan, an available Agent allowance, or a Credits balance. If none is available, choose a plan or Credits purchase from the access screen. A subscription and Credits purchase are alternative ways to start; you do not need both.

A new workspace starts with Create your first Agent. Agents and chat history are stored on this device and separated by MadoHub account. Signing in on another device does not automatically copy this local workspace.

Create your first Agent

  1. Tap Create Agent, or open + → Agent on the canvas.
  2. Choose a quick-start option such as Debug, or enter a name that describes the task. Tap Create. MadoHub prepares instructions you can edit later.
  3. Before an AI operation, read the data-sharing disclosure and continue if you agree. You can review this choice in Settings → About & Privacy → AI data sharing.
  4. Open the Agent's conversation and provide the code, error message, or context it needs. For example: “Explain why return items[0].name fails for an empty array and suggest a safe fix. Keep it brief.”
  5. Read the reply and send a follow-up when you need more detail. Use Stop to cancel a running task.

Provide the relevant source or logs in the conversation. Review suggestions before applying them to your project; a discussion of a fix is not evidence that files were changed or tests ran.

Organize and continue work

  • Use the canvas to arrange Agents and the Agents list to find a conversation or check its status.
  • Connect Agents to hand completed output to the next task. + → Canvas Flow provides Peer Review, Pipeline, and Watcher templates.
  • Open related work from a conversation to read connected Agents' output, then return to your current draft.
  • When reading earlier messages, stay at your chosen position and use the latest-message control to return to the newest reply.
  • Closing an Agent stops its work and removes its tile from the active canvas. You can view and restore it in Closed Agents. Permanent deletion is a separate action.

In version 1.1, iPhone Duo layouts adapt to the active inner or outer screen. Conversations and unsent drafts continue when the layout changes. iPad panels also adjust to the available window space.

Voice input

Tap the microphone in a conversation to dictate into the composer, review the text, and send it when ready. Holding the floating MadoHub Agent button records a spoken request; releasing it submits the finalized text to the assistant.

Microphone and Speech permissions are requested when used. Speech recognition runs on the device; audio is not uploaded. The finalized text is processed as task content after AI data-sharing consent. Choose the dictation language in Settings → Voice Input; availability depends on on-device speech support.

Credits, Pro, and purchases

Open Settings → Account and the MadoHub Pro entry to see your balance, allowances, and purchase options. iOS purchases use the App Store; use the displayed local price and Apple's confirmation sheet when deciding to buy.

OptionIncluded usageRenewal and expiry
1,000 CreditsA one-time addition to your Credits walletNo subscription; granted Credits do not expire
MadoHub Pro2,500 Agent Credits and 100 Cloud hours per paid billing periodRenews monthly until canceled; included allowances reset and do not roll over
Eligible Pro introductory trial250 Agent Credits and 10 Cloud hours over 3 days, when offeredConverts to the displayed monthly subscription unless canceled

Trial availability is determined by the App Store and is shown only when eligible. A Credit is a usage unit, not one message. Usage depends on the task and model; additional usage can draw from the Credits wallet after the corresponding plan allowance is used.

The desktop lifetime purchase and its website checkout are described in Accounts and Credits. To buy in the iOS app, use its App Store purchase controls. iOS AI tasks use MadoHub Cloud and do not accept a provider API key entered by the user.

Restore or manage a purchase

Use Restore Purchases on the access or purchase screen with the Apple Account that made the purchase and the MadoHub account it belongs to. Their email addresses do not need to match. Restore checks verified purchases and account entitlements; it does not grant another copy of already-delivered consumable Credits.

If Apple confirmed a purchase but the app is still checking it, reopen MadoHub and use its retry or restore control before buying again. Manage an App Store subscription through the subscription-management link in the app or Apple's subscription settings. An existing plan purchased elsewhere is managed where it was purchased.

Connect a Mac when you need one

Open Settings → Mac Connection to enable Connect signed-in Macs automatically, or use the local QR pairing option. The Companion guide explains both methods and troubleshooting.

From version 1.1, automatic Mac discovery is off when you have not saved a preference; an existing saved choice is preserved. If you only use the mobile workspace, leave it off. In an older version, turn it off and reopen the app if a missing-Mac message remains visible.

Privacy and account deletion

Review AI sharing in Settings → About & Privacy. Turning sharing off blocks new AI tasks; an already-running task may finish. See the Privacy Policy for account data, task processing, retention, and remote Mac connections.

To delete your account, open Settings → Account and choose the deletion control. Confirm ownership with a sign-in method linked to the account. Deletion removes the account's cloud data and its local workspace. Finish any pending purchase or restore first. Deleting a MadoHub account does not cancel App Store subscription renewal; manage the subscription separately.

Get help

For a connection or purchase error, first check your internet connection and retry the action shown in the app. For Mac-specific errors, follow Companion troubleshooting. If the issue persists, email [email protected] with the app version, device and OS version, the displayed error, and the steps that led to it. Include a screenshot with private project or account information removed; never send a password or pairing link.
