Connections

Create and configure routing connections between tiles.

Connections are the visual links between tiles that define how output flows from one agent to another.

Creating a connection

  1. Hover over a tile's edge — a connection handle (small dot) appears.
  2. Click and drag from the handle.
  3. Drop on the target tile.
  4. A configuration panel slides open from the right.

Connection configuration

Each connection has these settings:

Trigger

Controls when routing fires. See trigger types for details.

  • on-idle (default) — After completion + 8s silence
  • on-complete — Handled identically to on-idle: after completion + 8s silence, not immediately
  • on-keyword — When a regex pattern matches
  • always — On any new output

Transform

Controls how the output is transformed before delivery. See transform types for details.

  • ai-routing (recommended) — AI-generated prompt
  • prompt-wrap — Template with variables
  • full-output — Last 30 lines
  • raw — Last 10 lines
  • summary — AI summary

Loop protection

  • Max rounds (1–20, default: 5) — Auto-deactivates after this many cycles.
  • Cooldown (1–30s, default: 3s) — Minimum time between triggers.
  • Stop keyword — Halts routing when this string appears in output.

Visual indicators

  • Inactive connection: Dashed line between tiles.
  • Active connection: Animated flowing line with particles, indicating data is being routed.
  • Connection endpoints: Small dots at each tile's center.

Managing connections

  • Click a connection line to open its configuration panel.
  • Delete a connection from the configuration panel.
  • Connections are persisted to disk and restored on app restart.
